October 17, 1824, was principal of McCollom Institute from 1856 to 1860, thence went to Andover, Mass., to study theology, was settled as minister of the Congregational Church, Pelham, until his death, October 10, 1899. He m(1) Nov. 24, 1853, Miss Dora Richardson Snow of Peterborough, who d. March 15, 1873. He m(2) in 1877, Miss Mary Currier Richardson of Pelham.
