Middleton, Mass., Jan 25, 1774, d. in Amherst [NH], March 14, 1812. His wife Agnes, d. Jan 19, 1808, age 69. He practiced medicine in Amherst. Children: 1. Henry Codman Jr. studied medicine, practised in Mont Vernon, where he d. July 31, 1806, age 29 years. He m. Feb 19, 1796, Rebecca, dau of Joseph Langdell. She m(2) Thomas Hamlin, May 3, 1837 and d. May 5, 1855, aged 76. Her remains rest by the side of her first husband in Mont Vernon cemetery 2. Catherine, d. June 10, 1781, age 2 years, 3 months. Nathan Codman, b. Hillsborough Bridge [NH], m. Hannah Cree of New Boston [NH]. He d. Dec 17, 1874. She d. Aug 29, 1881. Children, b. West Deering NH: 1. George N., b. July 11, 1867, resided Mont Vernon, laborer. 2. Ida Jennie, b.
